Volunteering:
The Great South Bay Music Festival is dependant on a large
team of talented and dedicated volunteers. We invite you to lend your
time, energy and talents and be a part of this wonderful musical
experience.
The Festival is now accepting volunteer
applications. If you are interested in being a part of this event, the
volunteer opportunities are as numerous as they are diverse.
There are a few requirements to be
a part of our team:
You must be at least 16 years of age.
Complete an application form
FOR FIRST TIME VOLUNTEERS:
Attend orientation scheduled for
Tuesday, July 10th at 7:30pm
located at 318 Wynn Lane, Port Jefferson, NY 11777.

- Dress Comfortable and
Appropriately.
- Wear comfortable shoes,
preferably sneakers
(you will be walking a lot).
- Remember to bring sunscreen,
hat, waist-pouch
and rain gear.
- If you are dressed
provocatively you will be sent home.
- There will be no storage space
for personal items.
- Portable restrooms are
available for volunteers.
- Check into box office at least
30 minutes before shift begins.
- If you are going to be late or
have to cancel you will be
given a phone number to call at orientation
meeting.
- Do not leave your assigned
area until end of shift. If you
have to leave please tell a supervisor so we can get
you coverage.
- Friends, family members,
children may NOT accompany you on your shift.
- Use of alcohol and illegal
substances are not permitted before or while on duty.
- You must agree to comply with
all security rules and regulations.
