ANDY FALCO CELEBRATES BOB WEIR

Andy Falco is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, and one-fifth of the GRAMMY award-winning bluegrass quintet, The Infamous Stringdusters. As a kid, Andy’s brother was the primary influence and inspiration to play guitar and jam.

And in a household where listening to the likes of the Beatles, Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers, it’s certainly no surprise that the direction his own music took very much fell into the world of the blues, Americana and ultimately bluegrass.

Falco, as his fans and bandmates have come to call him, spent his formative years playing music on his home turf of Long Island and in New York City, where the music scene of the 90s was defined by small clubs, all of which curated a vibrant musical environment.

“Generally speaking, I played everywhere and anywhere I could, shared Falco. “I’ve been in so many bands over the years across many sub-genres of Americana music – Rock, Blues, Soul, Bluegrass, Folk… and eventually I landed with the Infamous Stringdusters.”

Having been friends with some of the [Dusters] guys from the northeast, it was 2007 in Nashville, after having relocated to tour and record with several artists as a side musician, when he and the Stringdusters officially joined forces.

Since 2007 and after Falco joined the band, he and the Stringdusters went on to record 9 studio records, one of which, 2017’s Laws of Gravity, went on to win a GRAMMY for Best Bluegrass Album.

As a songwriter, Andy’s approach is simple. “I simply sit and observe what I see in the world around me, and try to put it to music. Especially lately, I’ve gravitated towards certain observations that I hope others might relate to as well.”

Rob Eaton
Rob is an American guitarist. He is best known for his work with the renowned
Grateful Dead tribute band, Dark Star Orchestra, of which he has been a member since 2001.

Alwyn Robinson
Wandering the streets of New York City, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a restless, modern society in flux, singer-songwriter Alwyn finds deep, genuine inspiration from the swirling emotions and actions of passerby faces — each in search of love and connection.

At 36, Alwyn has been the acclaimed drummer for iconic Americana/bluegrass group Leftover Salmon for the last 12 years. That national notoriety of performance has lent itself to expand Alwyn’s musical palette and singing talents, one where his upcoming record is a snapshot of a young artist in pursuit of truths, onstage and off.

Eric Finland
Eric graduated from Berklee College of Music receiving the World Tour Scholarship with a Bachelors Degree in Piano/Hammond Organ performance, and a masters in jazz performance from SUNY purchase.

As a full time performer based out of NYC he has had the privilege of playing with such notable artists as Michael Mcdonald, Slash, Paul Shaffer, Nona Hendrix, George Clinton, J. Geils, Joe Louis Walker (Multiple Grammy winning artist), Norah Jones, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes

Eric is currently touring with The Krasno Moore Project (Eric Krasno and Stanton Moore) and is the house keyboardist for the Soho Sessions in NYC.  His music education company: the Blues and beyond, puts Blues in the schools and utilizes history through the lens of music.

PAT FALCO
Bassist, educator, and musical director Pat Falco has made his versatility and passion for nearly all styles of music his calling card. Born and raised in New York, he has steeped himself heavily in blues, jazz, bluegrass, rock, pop and soul. Pat is a graduate of the Aaron Copeland School of Music (BA Music Performance/Education and MA Jazz Performance) and is equally proficient on both electric and upright bass. He is an original member of The Cosmic Orchestra. As a sideman Pat has performed and recorded with acclaimed artist such as Tony Trischka, Joss Stone, Steve Martin, G. Love, Joe Russo, Mike Delguidice, The Infamous Stringdusters, Amy Helm and Todd Sheaffer- to name a few. Pat’s voracious appetite for learning about new sounds lends itself well to bringing heart and authenticity to any project with which he is involved.
