Pigeons is an indie alternative-rock duo composed of Connor Bankos, a 20-year-old multi-instrumentalist musician/composer/producer from the Hudson Valley, and Arianna Velez, a 19-year-old singer/songwriter/producer from Long Island. Connor, who has been composing music since he was 12 years old, contributes his elaborate instrumental skills to the duo, while Arianna, who has also been songwriting since she was 12, brings her natural lyrical storytelling talents into the song-writing process, thus creating the perfect companionship for songwriting. Their varying musical tastes also allow for a very unique, creative blend of older and modern music. The couple met at Five Towns College and have been playing and writing music together for nearly 2 years. They will be performing live with drummer Cayla Charles, Sammy Nino on guitar and bass, and Jake Rieder on guitar and bass.
