Bio:
Cautionary is a metal, rock, and alterative cover band based on Long Island, New York. Originally organized under the direction of Justin Termotto as part of the performance program at Rock and Roll University in Hauppauge, this band of talented young musicians quickly found common ground playing metal and rock music from the 80’s through the present day.
The hard hitting, big sound of the drums played by 13-year-old Evan Jenkins combined with the solid bass playing of Justin Termotto, age 16, provide the perfect foundation to support the ripping guitar licks and shredding by 15-year-old Kyle Sheehan and 12-year-old Liam Reynolds. Rounding out this band of musical artists is the amazing vocal range of their lead singer, Alexander Siegel, age 16.
Don’t let their ages fool you. Fans rave that this band plays well beyond their years. Covering everything from Deftones and Rage Against the Machine to Pearl Jam and Green Day, these talented musicians will entertain any crowd ready to enjoy some great 80’s, 90’s, and 2000s metal and alt rock tunes.
Cautionary has performed across Long Island at many venues including Shanahan’s, Park Lounge, Past Times Pub, Napper Tandy’s, Katie’s, North Tap, Long Beach in Smithtown, and the Blue Parrot. They have also been a featured band at the United Ink Tattoo Festival at the Cradle of Aviation Museum and the Huntington Fall Festival, and were recently recently featured in the Long Island Life section of Newsday as an up and coming Long Island Garage Band.
