Rob and I have played together for some 20 years or so.  The lion’s share was in our church band at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lindenhurst.  Those years we refer to as “Camelot.”  Each member of the band brought amazing talent, commitment and no ego!  I always wondered how it would end one day and as life would have it and when God is involved and at the center of it all, the beginning as well as during and after, it happens so naturally and so gracefully.   Many a time I’d say, “You can’t out give God!”

But Camelot did end and after a while Rob and I started bringing what we did in our back yards around the fire with friends and family into some local “open Mic’s”.  One Mic’s turned into gigs and gigs into festivals and Events.  We’ve made some great friends to along the way.  Anywhere from Long Island to Florida (You never know where you might end up when your friends with Big Papa Buff) “I don’t live my life like this but that another story”.

Anyway, the hardest part of the musical endeavor was coming up with a band name.  I think we were driving in Florida on our way to play at a local watering hole and the four of us Theresa, Ang, Rob and I agreed, Whats it matter, it’s all about the wine!  Let’s have fun, keep it light and relax or “UnWined”!  So we will continue to play as long as we are having fun, the wine is being poured theres a couple of cold one to be had and our ladies are enjoying the music.

We love our Country and our Music and when the two meet and start moving some feet we have a great time!  Nothing like playing and gett”n boots on the floor.  its like adding another piece to the band.    Were often told, “You guys sound like a 6 piece band” and the two of us take that as a great compliment.  Something we’ve learned is that Country fans are the same every where, Great!
